Founded in Rome in 1884, Bvlgari is a luxurious fashion brand with exclusive Italian style. Bvlgari draws inspiration from the timeless beauty of Greek and Roman art which was admired by Sotiriou Bvlgari, the brand’s founder who came from a Greek Empire of silver jewelers. The silver jewelry is now more or less reflected in the design of the Bvlgari bottles. The very first Bvlgari business base was established in Rome and soon became a place of many aristocratic parties.
After World War II, some strict French rules for the production of gold jewelry and fashion accessories were imposed. Bvlgari boasted its first store in New York and then focused on watches. In 1993, Bvlgari perfumes were finally introduced with a conventional series of Eau Parfumee au The Vert. Now a young collection called Bvlgari Omnia is popular. However, all of Bvlgari’s collections are young. Though the brand’s history is short, it’s also incredibly busy and interesting.
