Loewe is a Spanish fashion brand based in Madrid that is mainly famous for its leatherwear, bags, accessories and unique perfumes which belong among the bestsellers in Spain.  Founded in 1846 by a group of tanners, its contemporary name was invented only 26 years later by German tanner, Enrique Roessberg Loewe.  He then helped the brand gain the reputation as the best leatherwear producer in Madrid.  Gradually, the brand expanded, becoming considerably famous.  In 1972, Lowe introduced L de Loewe for women, a cypress-floral fragrance in a gentle, elegant bottle.  Two years later, Loewe Loewe, an aroma from the fougere group was introduced for men.  In the 1980s, Loewe started a partnership with Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), and in 1985 they produced Aire Loewe, a floral women’s perfume which remains popular on the Spanish market.  Another favorite is Aqua de Loewe, a woody perfume with citrus notes.  Loewe perfumes are designed in collaboration with top fragrance designers---Emilio Valeros, Olivier Cresp, Carlos Benaim, Yves Cassar, Alberto Morilla and Celine Barel.
