Paloma Picasso

Daughter of the famous Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, Paloma Picasso has been surrounded by the world of art since childhood.  Afraid of being compared to her father, Paloma was hesitant about entering the world of design, but eventually started to design and produce jewelry of her own.

Her grandfather, Emile Gilot, was a chemist and perfume manufacturer who influenced her first perfume design in 1984.  She said it was a fragrance for strong women like herself.  Her perfumes were soon accompanied by handbags, belts, umbrellas, and small leather products that became popular on the international market, thanks to their high quality and originality.  Today, Picasso products are offered all over the world.
